One little girl has a very special friend, the tall ancient tree in her backyard. Through the seasons, she grows along with the tree, playing in its branches and basking in its shade. She can swing and have a picnic, draw the tree and play hide and go seek. Through her time with her tree, the girl learns to appreciate the natural world as something to be savored and protected and acknowledges her place within it.

The Growing Hearts series celebrates the milestones of a toddler’s emotional development, from conquering fears and expressing feelings to welcoming a new sibling.

About the Author and the Illustrator

Jo Witek and Christine Roussey are the author/illustrator team behind the Growing Hearts series, including In My Heart, Brave as Can Be, In My Room, With My Daddy, All My Treasures, and Hello in There! They live in France.

Shipping

Standard Shipping

  • Free shipping Australia-wide on orders $200+ (excludes ceramics, bulky & heavy items).

  • Orders under $200: $11 flat rate.

  • Orders containing ceramics: $17 flat rate.

Local Options

  • Local Pick-Up: Select “Pick Up” at checkout and collect from our store at your convenience.

  • Local Delivery: Available by courier for a reduced rate. Delivery takes ~3 business days.

Delivery Times

  • We ship via Australia Post & Sendle.

  • Standard delivery is usually 3–7 business days depending on your location.

  • Please allow a little extra during peak times or unexpected events (weather, postal delays, etc.).

Helpful Tips

  • Double-check your address at checkout to avoid delays.

  • Use your tracking link to follow your order’s journey.

  • If your parcel is delayed, contact Australia Post or Sendle directly, or get in touch with us if you need a hand.

Returns

 

Exchanges & Credit Notes

  • Exchanges or credit notes are available within 14 days of purchase.

  • No returns, exchanges, or refunds on sale items.

  • Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the issue date.

  • We can only offer one exchange per order.

Items must be

  • In original condition, unworn, and with tags attached.

  • Returned with proof of purchase.

  • (Please note: earrings and swimwear cannot be returned for health reasons.)

Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind, wrong choice, or pre-orders.

  • Refunds are only issued if an item is deemed faulty, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

  • If a fault occurs, we’ll first check with the supplier/brand for a replacement. If unavailable, we’ll issue a refund.

Shipping & Returns

  • Return shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense.

  • We can’t accept returns outside the 14-day period.

  • Any damage during shipping is outside our control, but we’ll always do our best to help resolve with Australia Post.

Sustainability Note

We use Bio Post packs and often reuse boxes to minimise waste—your order may arrive in recycled packaging, always packed with care.
